Overview: As a Transportation Driver at The Bridges at Ankeny, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents by providing reliable transportation to various appointments, activities, and events. Your dedication to safe and efficient transportation services will contribute to the overall quality of life for our residents. We are currently seeking someone who is CNA certified to step into this role.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport residents to and from appointments, activities, and other destinations as needed.
- Assist residents with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, conducting routine inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to coordinate transportation schedules and address any specific needs or preferences.

Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Would need to obtain a Chauffeurs License within 30 days of hire.
- Must have a valid and active Certified Nursing Assistant license (CNA)
- Previous experience in transportation, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with residents.
